Bicester MP, Victoria Prentis, visited local charity, OYAP Trust, where she met Office and Programme Coordinator Janine Shuter and saw some of their projects in action. OYAP Trust empowers young people, especially the most vulnerable, to make a difference to themselves and their communities through the Arts. OYAP were recipients of the second round of the Culture Recovery Fund which has and will go a long way in supporting the Trust moving forward.

Commenting on the visit, Victoria said: “It was fantastic to visit one of Bicester’s most community driven organisations on Friday. The Trust use creative projects to strengthen the community and bring people of all ages together.”

“It was great to see professional artists take the time to inspire younger people and create lasting experiences. There was so much going on from sculpture classes to dancing, from musical performance to gardening. It was brilliant to see so many artistic projects taking place.”

“I was delighted to hear that OYAP were successful recipients of the second round of the Culture Recovery Fund which will go a long way in supporting the Trust moving forward.”
