Support Liz and her charity climb

[dropcap type =”circle”]T[/dropcap]raining is under way for local charity campaigner Liz Wilson, who is planning to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and raise thousands to help fight breast cancer.
Liz runs a local fundraising group for Breast Cancer Now, called Beth’s Pink Ladies, in aid of local girl Bethan Reading, who died from breast cancer in 2013, aged just 34.
In October Liz, will take on her toughest challenge yet and is calling on local people to support her.
Liz said: “To date, our group has raised over £38,000 which we’re really proud of. This year I’ve taken on my own challenge and have signed up to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October. This is going to be a huge challenge for me, not just with the training, but I’ve also set myself a target to raise £5,000.”
Liz is holding a cake and craft sale at Bicester Methodist Church on April 8, and all the money raised from the cake and coffee sales, will be going towards Liz’s epic walk.
She added: “I’ve had some wonderful support from local people and companies already – Bicester Roofing, The Launton Village Players, Jon Ralph from Leach and Ralph Construction, and Jon Stocker from Evolve Gym, who is helping to train me.”
