[dropcap type =”circle”]D[/dropcap]orchester Living is launching two new show homes within The Gardens, a collection of three and six bedroom houses, at Heyford Park in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire.

The developer is inviting homebuyers to attend the launch of the show homes at an official open weekend on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March. Visitors can visit from 10am on both days but to avoid the disappointment of missing out, it is best to make an appointment.

The Crawford and Darcy house types have been  designed room-by-room by interior design specialists Claude Hooper Interiors.

Richard Ornelas of Claude Hooper Interiors, who managed the show home project, said: “Heyford Park is a really exciting development and we were delighted to be asked by Dorchester Living again to work with them on the dressing of these show homes. The quality of the build of these houses is exceptional and so it was important that this was showcased in the interior design of these show homes.”

The Crawford is a four bedroom, two bathroom townhouse with clean lines and open plan living. It features a well-designed contemporary kitchen and modern bathroom.

Richard added: “We have given the show home a modern monochrome design, which is very on trend at the moment. Pattern is very much key to this property and features stunning wallpapers from Matthew Williamson, Elitis Parade range and real lustre from Romo’s latest Black Edition collection.

“The house also features a children’s room with a very cute baby Penguin mural. This room has lots of different textures in the fabrics with furs and velvets to show how cosy a monochrome scheme can be.”

The Darcy is a four bedroom, three bathroom detached house aimed at professional couples and families who want a slice of the Oxfordshire countryside and a contemporary style home. It features a modern glass exterior, contemporary kitchen and open plan living accommodation.

Richard said: “The brief for the scheme was metallic and so we have worked with bronze, gold and platinum colouring. Bedroom one features Jane Churchill Plato paper from there Atmosphere range, whilst bedroom two features gold foil paper from the Ligna range by Arte. This paper is inspired by the woodland but finished in a grand style. Bedroom three has real sparkle using Harlequins formation oyster wallpaper, which adds a lovely shimmer to the room with its beaded detail which we have styled as a teenage girls room.”

The first few homes at The Gardens are now completed and being moved in to. There are currently a range of three and four bedroom homes available to buy from plan and prices start at £359,995. Dorchester Living will be releasing more homes for sale this spring and interested homebuyers can contact the marketing suite for more details.

Jeanne Evett, Sales and Marketing Director, Dorchester Living added: “These show homes highlight the high specification that all of the homes for sale at The Gardens have to offer. Claude Hooper Interiors have done a wonderful job in designing and dressing the show homes and we are delighted to be able to showcase them at the official launch weekend. We look forward to taking people around the properties, showing them the range of homes available to buy as well as discussing the long term plans for Heyford Park.”
