[dropcap type =”circle”]A[/dropcap] love of travel and a desire to create a truly personalised service for customers fuelled Debbie Hill’s desire to launch her own travel agency.
Debbie, who has worked in retail travel for several years, felt that the High Street offered poor customer service and limited choice to the customer.
Debbie said: “As an Independent Travel Agent, working with the backing of one of the largest independent groups in the UK, Not Just Travel, I can offer not only a personal customer service but also a vast selection of holidays from hundreds of suppliers, many of whom are not available on the high street, put together as a combination YOU want, with the flights YOU want on the days YOU want to travel.”
Debbie added: “In short, it is my job to take your ideas and turn them into your dream holiday – and unlike High Street travel agents, I don’t have fixed working hours – I am available when customers need me.”
Debbie’s love of travel started when she moved to Germany over 20 years ago. She said: “My husband travelled a lot for his job and I got to go with him and experience some amazing locations, seeing most of Europe from Stockholm to Rome and many places in between over the next two years.
“We then lived in Switzerland which really kicked started my love of mountains and lakes! Coming back to England only fuelled my need to travel more, and over the next few years we visited the USA, the Caribbean, Mauritius, the Ice Hotel, Santa’s Lapland, Dubai and many other places. One of my personal bucket list items was walking the Great Wall of China, which I finally did last year – a real achievement for someone who loves lying on a sunbed! My next goal is to walk down into the Grand Canyon, or maybe the Inca Trail in Peru, or perhaps a trip around Australia.”
Debbie prides herself on offering great personal service, and a fantastic choice of destinations.
She added: “With our service, customers can be a name, not a booking reference, and we have a fantastic choice of travel options-if you can dream of it, I can get you there, off planet excluded I am afraid, at least at the moment!”
