[dropcap type =”circle”]O[/dropcap]xfordshire residents will be able to reach London from Oxford city centre with Chiltern Railways over most of the Christmas period and during improvement work on the Oxford to Paddington line.
Chiltern Railways is running the following service over the festive season.
24th December 2016 – Christmas Eve
Service will finish earlier than normal. The last train from London Marylebone to Oxford city centre departs at 20.05. The last train from Oxford to London departs at 21.09. 3,000 additional seats will be offered to passengers using the service.
25th December 2016 – Christmas Day No service
26th December 2016 – Boxing Day Service running between Oxford Parkway and London Marylebone.
The first train from London Marylebone will be at 08.15 and last train at 19.45.
First train from Oxford Parkway is at 08.56 and last train to London Marylebone at 20.26.
27th – 30th December 2016 Chiltern Railways will be operating an amended Saturday service running between Oxford city centre and London Marylebone with an additional 3,000 seats a day.
First train from London Marylebone at 05.57 and last departing at 23.10.
First train leaves from Oxford at 06.12 and the last service departs to London Marylebone at 22.09.
31st December 2016 – New Year’s Eve Extended service. Last train from London Marylebone to Oxford at 01.30.
