MP visits Hook Norton Brewery

MP Victoria Prentis visited Hook Norton Brewery for a tour of the facilities and to discuss the impact of the current coronavirus restrictions on pubs

During her visit, Victoria met James Clarke and Mark Graham and spoke to them about a range of issues, including the 10pm curfew and enforcement action taken against those in breach of social distancing guidelines. Victoria also talked to them about a recent beer duty campaign and re-starting her famous pub tour where she visits local pubs in the area and meets constituents.

Speaking after her visit, Victoria said: “I always enjoy visiting Hook Norton Brewery and catching up with the team. Hook Norton own 36 pubs in and around north Oxfordshire so have a lot of first-hand experience of the current Covid restrictions. From the 10pm curfew, to the safety measures put in place in their pubs, the visit was really helpful and provided me with an invaluable insight into the impact of current coronavirus regulations on business which I can pass on to my Ministerial colleagues. I look forward to visiting again soon.”
